The history of «Semushka» began in 2002, when a group of like-minded people came up with the idea to create a seed company. The trademark was named «Semushka»— the name of seeds in colloquial Armenian.
Over the following years, the range of products was expanded, and new products appeared: pumpkin seeds, white and striped seeds. In 2012, it was decided to rebrand and reorient the product range from seeds to nuts and dried fruits. The same year, the first line of nuts and dried fruits was released in a doy-pack made of Kraft paper, which allows to see and evaluate the appearance of the product. The novelty and convenience of the packaging were highly appreciated by our customers.
In 2014, «Semushka» was the first to introduce a line of Armenian dried fruits to the market, including new items for the Russian market as dried peaches, pears, red plums and persimmons.
In 2016, a confectionery shop for the production of churchkhela and fruit pastilles was launched. On its basis, in 2019, a line of chocolate with nuts was released, two positions were represented: almonds in dark and milk Belgian chocolate.
In 2017, sugar and preservatives free natural dried tropical fruits from Costa Rica: pineapples, mangoes, papaya and bananas, appeared in the range. In 2017, the traditional line of roasted nuts in brown crafts was supplemented with the "Green line" of dried nuts, and in 2019, the "Blue line" of salted nuts.
In 2019, the production of blanching and crushing nuts and seeds was launched.
In the fall of 2020, we opened our first branded store in Moscow, which offers a full range of the company's products.
